If you have been in Houston for more than a few years, you know that the best chicken wings are a local specialty. As with most cities throughout the U.S., there are hundreds of different variations on the theme of sweet and spicy wings. The following recipe is my favorite, and it's definitely not the only one I've had that is worthy of being called the best chicken wings in Houston. You can taste it in eat chimac.

Make Sure To Get Sharp: It's important to make sure your chicken wing is really sharp, or else it will fall apart after three to five minutes in the fryer. I usually recommend boning for this part - something like thin cut, or fat-free, olive oil. Season chicken with salt and pepper, and rub with flour. When breading, make sure to coat the flour with flour as well, and not just with oil. Then dip the wings in batter, and let them sit in that batter for about five minutes. At that point, they're ready to cook.

If you go to a restaurant, you might want to try a nice marinade or rub with a little garlic, onion, pepper, etc. It adds some flavor. Don't forget the mashed potatoes. And the coleslaw! Don't forget the coleslaw. In fact, your whole diet should revolve around these four things. It doesn't have to be that complicated. It just needs to be well-rounded.
