Stamping and zinc removal technology for galvanized coil sheet

According to different reasons, there are many ways to improve the zinc removal of the galvanized coil. One of the ways to improve zinc removal is to treat the surface of the die (such as coating treatment, chemical heat treatment, etc.). What was his principle? Today we're going to expand on that.

In fact, not only is China Wave Type Galvanized Corrugated Steel Sheet on the softer layer will wear, even if there is no coating steel sheet stamping there are trace powder rub off. That is to say, friction occurs between the steel plate and the mold, and metal adhesion appears on the surface of the mold, leading to serious strain.

It has been proved by some literatures that when the die made of pure steel is pressed without special surface treatment, no matter how high the quenching hardness of the die is, no matter how big the forming force is (which is proportional to the strength of the material and the complexity of the parts, etc.), the problem of strain is unavoidable.

To solve this problem, the principle is to change the properties of the friction pair between the mold and the high quality GI steel coil with spangles and replace it with a material that is not easy to fall off/stick.

Specific solutions can be:
Change the mold surface characteristics: that is, the mold surface treatment. Examples include chrome plating or more efficient TD (thermal diffusion carbide cladding) techniques described earlier.

Change the surface characteristics of the steel plate: the stamping parts of the raw materials for raw material surface treatment (such as electric galvanized material coating phosphating film, hot dip galvanized material surface high lubrication treatment).

Separate buffer layer: add a layer of other material between the die and the stamping parts to physically separate the processed parts from the die (such as adding lubrication or adding a layer of PVC and other materials).
